Our sailing vessels embarks from two ports located on some of the best sailing grounds on the East Coast. The Kathleen D departs from Sandy Hook Bay Marina, Highlands, New Jersey. As we motor out of the marina, sails are up in a matter of minutes and we sailing past historic Sandy Hook Lighthouse.
Prime Time departs from Monmouth Cove Marina in Port Monmouth, New Jersey in the heart of the
Gateway Region of the Jersey Shore. When we embark from our dock we are in Sandy Hook Bay
in minutes. Hoist the sails, head up wind, adjust the sheets (lines) and we're off! Looking north is
Staten Island, the Verrazano Bridge, the Manhattan skyline. To the east is Sandy Hook and Sandy Hook Bay. Sailing into Sandy Hook Bay we see the famous Sandy Hook Lighthouse on our port (left) side and rising above the Bay on our starboard (right) side are the hills of Atlantic Highlands.
Captain John departs from the Keyport Town Dock and cruises north across the Bay, under the Verrazano Bridge, past the Statue of Liberty, up the Hudson River, circling Lower Manhattan , up the East River, under the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges and past the South Street Seaport. New York City form the water is just spectacular.
Mum Runner is docked at Bahrs Landing under the Highlands/Sandy Hook Bridge. Leaving the dock we head southeast under the bridge and into the Navesink and Shrewsbury Rivers. These clams waters offer a wonderful journey past some of the most beautiful scenery in the area. Motor along this wonderful estuary and take in all of natures beauty as well as the magnificent mansions with their manicured lawns. Sunset cruises often take us northward along Sandy Hook as the sun sets over the hills of Atlantic Highlands.
